Best for the Price, September 28, 2011 By  EG - See all my reviews This review is from: 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM Auto Focus Lens for Olympus (Electronics) I used this lens on Canon and Olympus body.; Solid construction and perfect IQ. Some say it is better then famous Canon 50/1.2 glass. I love it for shallow DOF and good detail retention. I also used Canon original 50/1.4 and that one is soft wide open. Sigma is sharp wide open.
